EuroClub is currently organising both regular, online, small group conversation exchanges using Zoom and some in person exchanges in Central London. These include french-english conversation, spanish – english conversation , german-english, italian-english and english conversation evenings. If you are interested in joining in any of these , please email info@euroclub.co.uk for more details. You do not need to be based in London to participate in our online language meetings.
We are a friendly, informal language club that started in London in 1994. We organise regular language exchange evenings to practise speaking European languages.
We speak English, French, Spanish, Italian, or German with native speakers,so you can practise these languages every week.
We organise friendly exchanges, either on line through Zoom, or in a quiet space in a bar or café, where we help other people with our own native language and learn from them as we practise theirs. We currently have on line, evening Zoom meetings for French-English , Spanish-English , Italian-English , Spanish -English where we chat in small groups for 45 minutes -1 hour in each language. German conversation is normally on Saturdays. We also have dedicated on line English conversation. evenings using Zoom. In person French-English and Spanish-English exchanges are held every 2 weeks in Central London.
We also organise walks and visits to interesting places in London. We go together to enjoy London and see places you wouldn’t normally know about!
EuroClub is ideal if you’re interested in languages – whether you’ve recently come to London and want to improve your English, have lived here for a while and have some knowledge of another language or are already fluent in one and want to practise using it. We aim to be friendly, supportive and helpful and can help newcomers to London to feel more at home. But as we also have regular online exchanges you can join in from outside the UK , to practise your english or another language through friendly conversation. We also have Whatsapp groups for the different languages so you can share items of interest with other members.
The Club is open to anyone over the age of 18 from any country. Come along and check us out! It’s free to come to our language exchange meetups .
